Why Volunteer?

Volunteers who work for at least eight hours before or during the conference receive free registration for the conference.

Volunteering can save you money, provide you with access to extensive industry contacts and help you learn more about the GIS in Rockies supporting professional organizations. As a volunteer we will ask you to represent yourself as an ambassador for the Rocky Mountain geospatial community as a whole. Volunteering is also a great activity for personal career development.

What is expected

GIS in the Rockies benefits from the assistance of individuals who volunteer their time to organize the conference.

Volunteers staff the registration and information desks, assist presenters in setting up, support vendors, and perform a range of other essential duties.
