    Open Source Workshops
    Cost: Free
    Registration: Sign up through the GIS in the Rockies registration pages. If you are already registered you can login into the registration pages again and add the workshop to your registration.
      9:00am - 12:00pm: Intro to GeoServer
      This workshop will be focused on familiarizing beginners with the GeoServer application for publishing geospatial data over the web, as well as the Open Layers interface for creating fast, flexible “slippy maps”. GeoServer will be run on a LiveDVD so no applications will need to be installed.
      Attendees will be required to bring a laptop (Windows or Mac operating systems allowed.)

      1:00pm - 4:00pm: Making Spatial Data Google-able
      This workshop will be a lecture on techniques to make spatial data searchable.

    URISA-Certified Asset Management Workshop
    Cost: $75 (includes lunch)

      9:00am - 4:00pm: Asset Management: Planning, Strategy, and Implementation
      This workshop will focus on several aspects of developing an asset management system that could help improve performance, reduce long-term costs, and maximize return on investment in infrastructure assets.

    Cost: Free
